Four years later.....
[Evening - Jeon Family Dining Room]
The aroma of freshly cooked food filled the cozy dining room as the Jeon family sat together for dinner. The long dining table was lit with warm overhead lights, casting a soft golden glow on everyone's faces. Plates were filled with rice, kimchi stew, grilled fish, and YN's famous homemade dumplings - a weekly favorite in the house.
Jia sat on her booster seat beside YN, holding her chopsticks with graceful precision for a four-year-old, carefully picking up a piece of tofu and placing it on her plate.
Across from her, Jeongguk sat swinging his legs under the table, poking at his rice with a little pout on his face. He kept sneaking glances at Jia.
YN noticed first and raised a brow.
"Jeongguk-ah, what's wrong?"
Jeongguk puffed his cheeks, crossing his arms. "Noona isn't sharing her dumplings with me."
Jia looked up calmly and blinked. "You have dumplings on your own plate, Gukkie."
"But yours look yummier," he whined dramatically, scooting closer to her side, reaching his chopsticks over to her plate.
"Eyy!" Jia gently slapped his hand away with her chopsticks. "Appa made your plate the same as mine. Don't be silly."
"Still," Jeongguk grumbled, now officially sulking. He turned to Jungkook with big, watery eyes and climbed down from his chair, walking around the table and tugging at his father's sleeve. "Appaaaa~"
Jungkook looked down and smiled as his son hugged his arm dramatically.
"What happened now, baby?"
"Jia's being mean. She said I can't have her dumpling and she called me silly!"
he complained with a long sigh, like the world had ended.
YN tried to suppress a laugh while covering her mouth with her hand.
Jungkook set down his spoon and picked Jeongguk up, plopping him gently onto his lap. "You little bunny, you have the same dumplings. But let's see..." He leaned close and whispered, "Should we steal one from noona's plate together like secret agents?"
Jeongguk's face lit up with a giggle.
"Yes!!"
But before they could execute the plan, Jia crossed her arms and narrowed her eyes - exactly like YN when she was serious. "If you take my dumpling, I'll tell Mama you broke her lipstick this morning."
Jungkook gasped dramatically. "You did what?!"
Jeongguk panicked. "No! I didn't mean to! I was trying to draw a heart on the mirror for Mama!"
YN raised a brow. "So that pink scribble on the bathroom mirror was from my limited edition lipstick?"
Jeongguk nodded, whispering, "It was a love letter..."
Jungkook burst into laughter, pulling Jeongguk close and pressing a kiss to his cheek. "You're lucky you're this cute."
Jia huffed but secretly smiled and pushed one of her dumplings onto Jeongguk's plate. "Here. Only one."
"Yaaay!" Jeongguk clapped, then hugged her from across the table.
"You're the best noona in the whole world!"
"I know," she replied coolly, going back to her tofu like nothing happened.
As dinner continued, Jungkook looked at YN - her eyes still gleaming with laughter - and reached under the table to gently squeeze her hand.
This... this was their happiness - full of crumbs, sibling fights, and tiny lipstick crimes. And they wouldn't trade it for anything.

[Time Skip - 6 Years Later | Jeon Residence - Weekend Morning]
Sunlight poured gently into the living room through the sheer curtains. The Jeon family was enjoying a lazy Saturday - music playing softly in the background, the scent of pancakes drifting from the kitchen, and warmth lingering in every corner of the home.
Jia sat cross-legged on the couch, a book in her lap, her hair tied up neatly in a ponytail as always - calm and composed, the definition of a little lady.
Jeongguk, on the other hand, lay upside down beside her, legs over the couch backrest and his head dangling over the edge, dramatically complaining about boredom every few minutes.
Meanwhile, in the kitchen, Jungkook stood behind YN, arms wrapped tightly around her waist as she tried to flip a pancake.
"Jungkook," YN mumbled, stifling a smile, "I can't cook properly if you're stuck to me like a koala."
"But you're warm," Jungkook pouted against her shoulder, swaying them side to side playfully. "And I missed you. You were in the shower for twenty minutes this morning."
"It's called taking care of myself," she replied, trying not to laugh.
From the living room, Jia's sharp voice echoed:
"Eomma! Appa! Stop it already!"
Jeongguk chimed in loudly, "We're ten now! You can't kiss or cuddle in front of us like we're babies!"
YN's eyes widened as she froze mid-flip. "W-What?! Yah, we weren't doing anything! Your dad was just helping me reach the spatula behind me!"
Jungkook let out a low laugh, clearly enjoying this.
"Oh really?" Jia raised an eyebrow, peeking into the kitchen. "Then why were you swaying like in those dramas you watch when you think we're asleep?"
YN blinked. "Excuse me?!"
Jeongguk rolled onto the floor, giggling like crazy. "Appa was totally hugging you like in that one movie you made us turn off!"
Jungkook burst out laughing behind her and finally let go, lifting his hands like he was innocent. "Guilty. But come on - don't you want your parents to love each other forever?"
"Not in front of us!" both kids shouted at the same time.
"Fine, fine," YN muttered, placing pancakes on their plates. "No more PDA in front of our 'grown-up'
ten-year-olds."
As the family gathered around the table, Jungkook leaned close to whisper in YN's ear, "Tonight, when they're asleep, I'm hugging you without any excuses."
YN turned red but smiled softly. "Deal."
Jia caught the look and rolled her eyes.
"Ugh. I'm switching seats next to Jeongguk."
Jeongguk stuffed his mouth with pancakes and gave her a sticky thumbs up. "I support your decision, Noona."

[That Night - Bedroom]
The house had fallen silent.
The twins were fast asleep in their rooms, each tucked into their cozy beds after a day full of laughter, teasing, and pancakes. Outside, the moonlight spilled across the curtains, casting a soft glow over the room Jungkook and YN shared - a room full of memories, comfort, and the quiet kind of love that doesn't need grand gestures to feel real.
YN sat on the bed, brushing her hair, when Jungkook entered, fresh from his shower, hair damp and messy, wearing a loose black tee and shorts. His eyes softened the moment they landed on her.
He walked up to her, silently, gently took the brush from her hand, and placed it on the table.
"Hey," he whispered.
"Hmm?" she looked up at him, already smiling.
Without another word, he cupped her face and kissed her-slow, tender, full of the kind of love that words couldn't quite express. His thumb softly brushed her cheek as their lips moved, not in haste but in comfort. The kind of kiss that says we made it.
As they pulled back, Jungkook chuckled, his forehead resting against hers.
"Finally..." he whispered playfully, "...I can kiss my wife in peace... without the mini watchdogs judging us."
YN laughed quietly, "They're growing up too fast."
"I know," he nodded, eyes glimmering with emotion. "But I still get to have this-every night. You. Us."
He pulled her down gently onto the bed, wrapping his arms around her like a warm blanket. His head nuzzled into her neck, his breath slow and deep as he held her close under the covers, their legs tangled like puzzle pieces that fit.
After a moment of silence, his voice came again - soft, barely above a whisper.
"Thank you for loving me, YN."
Her eyes softened, tears threatening to rise at the rawness in his voice. She brushed her hand through his hair, pressing a kiss to his temple.
"I always will."
And just like that, wrapped in each other's arms, hearts full and warm, they drifted to sleep - no chaos, no noise... just love.
The story ends here -
with a kiss,
a thank you,
and forever in their hearts.
