[ 5 Years Later - Jeon Mansion ]
Time was truly cruel.
It didn't wait for anyone.
The little babies who once fit in Jungkook's arms had now grown into teenagers with their own personalities, opinions, and attitudes.
Jia and Jeongguk were now 15 years old.
Jia had grown into a mature, intelligent young girl. She was still the calm one, always carrying a book in her hand and watching the chaos around her with amusement.
And Jeongguk?
Well...
He was still his mother's biggest baby.
A complete mama's boy.
One lazy Sunday afternoon, YN sat on the couch, scrolling through her phone while enjoying a peaceful moment.
Her peace lasted only a few seconds.
"Mommmm~"
A deep voice whined as fifteen-year-old Jeongguk walked into the living room.
Before YN could even respond, he dramatically laid his head on her lap.
YN laughed, running her fingers through his hair.
"What happened now, my baby?"
From the staircase, Jia looked down and sighed.
"Eomma, he's fifteen. Stop calling him a baby."
"Exactly," Jeongguk replied, closing his eyes. "I'm fifteen, not fifty. I can still be my mom's baby."
Jia simply shook her head.
"I can't believe we came from the same womb."
At that moment, Jungkook entered the living room.
He was holding two cups of coffee, ready to spend some quiet time with his wife.
But the moment his eyes landed on Jeongguk comfortably lying on YN's lap, his expression changed.
"Yah."
Jeongguk opened one eye.
"What?"
"Move."
"Why?"
"That's my place."
YN immediately covered her mouth to hide her laughter.
"Appa, seriously?" Jeongguk asked in disbelief. "You're jealous of your own son?"
Jungkook crossed his arms.
"I have been sharing your mother with you for fifteen years. I think that's enough."
Jia started laughing.
"Finally, someone said it."
"Traitor," Jeongguk pointed at his sister.
Jungkook walked closer and tried to sit beside YN, but Jeongguk quickly hugged his mother tighter.
"No. You already have her every night.
Let me have my mom for a little while."
Jungkook gasped dramatically.
"Listen to this boy."
YN couldn't hold her laughter anymore.
"You two are impossible."
"No, Eomma," Jeongguk said proudly.
"I'm just protecting you from Appa."
"Protecting her from her own husband?" Jungkook raised his eyebrow.
"Yes."
"You have become my enemy."
Jia sighed again.
"Great. The battle of the two biggest babies in this house has started."
YN looked at her husband and son fighting over her attention and smiled.
Years had passed.
Their children had grown.
Their hair had changed.
Their faces had matured.
But one thing remained exactly the same.
Jeon Jungkook was still the clingy husband.
And Jeongguk was still the clingy son.
And Jeon YN?
She was still the most loved person in the Jeon household.
---
[That Night - Jeon Couple's Bedroom]
The Jeon mansion had finally become quiet.
Jia was in her room studying as usual, probably already halfway through another novel, while Jeongguk was in his room after spending almost the entire evening glued to his mother.
And one person was definitely not happy about it.
Jeon Jungkook.
YN walked out of the bathroom after finishing her skincare routine and immediately noticed her husband sitting on the bed with his arms crossed, his lips formed into a small pout.
A forty-five-year-old man.
Pouting.
Just like his fifteen-year-old son.
She couldn't help but laugh.
"What happened to my husband?" she asked, sitting beside him.
Jungkook turned toward her dramatically.
"Your son happened."
YN tried to hold back her smile.
"My son?"
"Yes, your son."
"Jungkook, he is your son too."
"No. Not today. Today he is only your son."
YN burst into laughter.
"Yah, Jeon Jungkook!"
"What? It's true!" he complained. "Do you know how long I waited to sit with you this afternoon?"
She tilted her head.
"Five minutes?"
"Exactly. Five precious minutes with my wife. And then your son came and stole my spot."
"He was just spending time with his mother."
Jungkook moved closer and rested his head on her shoulder.
"I know."
His voice became softer.
"I love that he loves you this much. But sometimes I miss the days when it was just me being clingy to you."
YN's expression softened immediately.
After all these years, this man had never changed.
The dangerous mafia king who once terrified the whole underworld still became a soft, needy husband whenever he was with her.
She gently ran her fingers through his hair.
"Are you jealous of your own child?"
"A little."
"A little?"
"Okay, a lot."
She laughed again.
"You're unbelievable."
"And yet you married me."
"Unfortunately."
Jungkook immediately lifted his head.
"Unfortunately?"
YN's eyes widened.
"Oh no-"
Before she could run away, Jungkook wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her into his lap.
"Take that back, Mrs. Jeon."
She giggled, placing her hands on his chest.
"Never."
"Fine."
"What are you going to do?"
Jungkook smiled.
"I'm going to keep you here all night because finally nobody can come and say, 'Mom, Appa is annoying you.'"
YN shook her head, smiling.
"You and Jeongguk are exactly the same."
"No."
"Yes."
"No, he's more dramatic."
The door suddenly opened.
Both froze.
Jeongguk stood there holding his pillow.
"Mom, I can't sleep."
Jungkook slowly closed his eyes.
"Of course."
YN started laughing.
"Come here, baby."
Jungkook looked at his son in disbelief.
"Seriously?"
Jeongguk smiled proudly.
"Move, Appa."
"Yah! This is my room!"
"And she's my mom."
"She's my wife!"
From outside the room, Jia's tired voice could be heard.
"Can both of you stop fighting over Eomma? You sound like toddlers."
The room fell silent.
Then YN laughed so hard that tears came to her eyes.
Some things would never change.
No matter how old they grew.
Jeon Jungkook and Jeon Jeongguk would always compete for one thing-
Jeon YN's attention.
And secretly?
She loved every second of it.
---
The room was filled with complete chaos.
YN sat in the middle of the bed, trying her best not to laugh as she watched her husband and son glare at each other.
One was a powerful man who once ruled the underworld.
The other was his fifteen-year-old son.
Yet at this moment?
Both looked exactly like two stubborn children.
Jungkook crossed his arms.
"Fine. Since you refuse to leave, let's decide like real men."
Jeongguk raised an eyebrow.
"How?"
Jungkook smirked.
"Rock, paper, scissors."
Jia, who was standing by the doorway with her book in her hand, almost dropped it.
"Seriously?" she asked, trying not to laugh. "You two are deciding who sleeps with Eomma through rock, paper, scissors?"
"Stay out of this, Jia," both father and son said at the same time.
The girl burst out laughing.
"Wow. You two really are father and son."
Jungkook pointed at Jeongguk.
"One game. The winner gets to sleep beside your mother."
"Deal," Jeongguk said confidently.
YN shook her head.
"I cannot believe my husband and my son are fighting over me."
"Because you're precious," both of them answered immediately.
For a moment, her heart melted.
But then the battle began.
"Rock!"
"Paper!"
"Scissors!"
Jungkook revealed rock.
Jeongguk revealed scissors.
Silence.
Then-
"YES!" Jungkook jumped up from the bed like he had just won the biggest war of his life.
He pointed dramatically at his son.
"Now go to your room and let me sleep with my wife, you clingy boy."
Jeongguk's mouth fell open.
"Appa! You're calling me clingy? Look at yourself!"
Jia was holding her stomach from laughing.
"Seriously, Eomma, I don't know how you survived living with these two for fifteen years."
YN laughed and pulled her daughter into a hug.
"Me too, sweetheart."
Jungkook proudly climbed onto the bed and wrapped his arms around YN's waist.
"Victory is mine."
Jeongguk looked betrayed.
"Mom, look at him! He's acting like he won the Olympics."
"He did win something more important," Jia teased. "He won a night without competition."
"Traitor," Jeongguk whispered dramatically.
"Goodnight, son," Jungkook said with a proud smile. "Maybe next time you'll defeat your father."
Jeongguk narrowed his eyes.
"This isn't over."
Jungkook smirked.
"Bring it on."
As Jeongguk walked out of the room, still grumbling, Jia followed behind him while laughing at her father and brother.
And inside the bedroom, YN looked at her husband-the same man who had once been feared by everyone.
A mafia king.
A feared legend.
Yet in front of his wife and children?
He was simply Jeon Jungkook.
A loving husband.
A ridiculous father.
And a man who would happily challenge his own son just for a little extra time with his wife.
The Jeon family wouldn't have it any other way.
